What does directing have to do with communication training and leadership?
I’ve been directing commercials for 30 years. Through more than 500 commercials, I’ve learned how to convey a message simply, clearly, and quickly. Good storytelling plays a crucial role in this: What’s the story behind the message? Is it believable, truthful—does it move people?
As a director and the first woman in Germany in this male-dominated advertising industry, I had to grapple with issues of self-confidence, leadership, and communication early on.

Führen und Führung - meine Background-Story
Ich führe seit 30 Jahren Regie in der Werbung. In über 1000 Werbespots habe ich gelernt, wie man eine Botschaft einfach, klar und schnell umsetzt. Dabei spielt gutes Storytelling eine entscheidende Rolle: Was ist die Geschichte hinter der Botschaft? Ist sie glaubhaft, wahrhaftig, berührt sie?
Als Regisseurin und erste Frau in diesem von Männern dominierten Business der Werbung habe ich mich früh mit den Themen FÜHRUNG und KOMMUNIKATION auseinandersetzen müssen.
Immer geht es um klare und verständliche Kommunikation, wenn Führung erfolgreich sein soll.
Seit einiger Zeit ergänze ich das Regie führen um eine weitere Art mit Menschen zu arbeiten: Seit 5 Jahren bin ich zertifizierte Business Trainerin, Kommunikationstrainerin und Coach.

About Me
Take care of your people
Over the course of my 30-year career as a director, I have shot approximately 500 commercials. Throughout this time, I’ve always been very fortunate to have a team by my side that supported my ideas and often made the impossible possible.
Whenever I was particularly successful as a director in taking the lead and empowering my crew, it showed in the films.
This collaborative aspect has always played a major role in my style and my work as a director, and it continues to this day in my work as a communications and leadership trainer, as well as a coach.
