As an advertising film director and the first woman in this job in Germany almost 30 years ago, I asked myself right from the start how I could motivate, inspire and lead people.
As a manager, was I allowed to show weakness, possibly even vulnerability? Should a manager have an answer to every question? Should I admit that I need support? How do I deal with attacks and criticism? How authentic can or should a manager be?
Based on my many years of experience in team management, I deliberately place people, with all their strengths and weaknesses, at the centre of my leadership training
